SCENAR-therapy with model 035-4

Recommendations on use

Besides disorders and pathological conditions listed in indications for SCENAR-therapy, SCENAR is very effective for elimination of fatigue after daily physical, mental and psycho-emotional overloads in practically healthy people, e. g. sportsmen, military men, operators of computer equipment, etc.

As a rule a course of SCENAR-therapy consists of 10–15 sessions. Sometimes, in severe cases, it may be necessary to conduct several courses — 2, 3, or 4 times a year. Long pauses during the course of SCENAR-therapy are undesirable. If the patient has 2–3 day pause between the sessions, the positive effect produced by previous sessions may be lost.

The treatment produces better effect if conducted every day or every other day. Treatment in the morning hours produces higher effect than in the afternoon or evening.

One session may last from 15 to 90 minutes, but usually it is 20–40 minutes. SCENAR-examination by “three tracks” method takes 10–15 minutes.

Recommended load duration on SCENAR (working without interruptions) should not exceed 4–hours. This is also the ultimate load for SCENAR-therapist, longer time spent working with SCENAR can make the doctor tired.

Choosing action intensity mind the following:

  • chronic diseases and asthenic conditions should be treated using minimum values of current strength;
  • treating the region of maximum pain, action intensity should be chosen according to patient's sensations and should be as much as bearable.

Other recommendations

1.

When beginning the course of SCENAR treatment of any chronic condition, it is recommended to conduct 4–5 sessions according to the “three tracks” method, in individually-dosed or continuous mode, which provides mobilization of all body systems.

2.

SCENAR-examination should be conducted symmetrically along two paravertebral lines. This allows to find out asymmetry in the operation modes, if available. The revealed asymmetry should be first treated horizontally on the side where the lower mode occurred (mode 1 — is the lowest, mode 3 is the highest). Then treat the symmetrical side, horizontally too.

SCENAR-examination is strongly recommended when the patient has unclear diagnosis. When treating chronic conditions, SCENAR-examination is recommended in the beginning of the course of treatment (during 3-4-5 sessions) using “three tracks” method.

3.

During SCENAR-examination and SCENAR-therapy, paravertebral lines along the vertebral column (2–3 cm to the right and to the left from the spine) should be taken care of as very important. Paravertebral ganglia — nervous plexuses located along the paravertebral lines under skin — are elements of the central nervous system. They also function as a buffer system between the central nervous system and environment.

4.

One of the main tasks of SCENAR-therapist during SCENAR-examination is constant observation of the operating modes of the device in the regions and segments (see Instruction on use) being symmetrically acted upon by SCENAR. The objective of this observation is monitoring the modes used in symmetry and asymmetry occurring in the modes.

For example, when you symmetrically act upon paravertebral lines of the thoracic segments and see the following modes: 3-3, 2-2, 3-2 (asymmetry!), you should pay more attention to treatment of the areas where modes 3-2 manifest and first treat the segment (horizontally) on the side of mode 2 (as the lower one) going from the paravertebral area to the midpoint of the thoracic region. Then treat symmetry on the side of mode 3 on the left (even if there is no paired organ in the symmetry region) the same way.

Horizontal treatment of symmetrical areas with modes 3-3, 2-2 is not obligatory. Usual SCENAR-action upon these areas will be enough to bring the regulating systems to the norm. Most important during SCENAR-examination is treatment of the revealed asymmetry areas. In this case SCENAR-examination also produces therapeutic effect, restoring disordered regulation functions in the body.

As a rule, in pathological conditions asymmetry occurs in various segments (at different levels of paravertebral lines). Asymmetry in one segment (at one level) manifests rarely. If there is no asymmetry revealed, “three tracks” method without treating symmetrical areas will be enough.

5.

Asymmetry in the region of paravertebral lines or in other symmetrical areas testifies to pathological process present in this area and requires treatment exactly in the region of asymmetry. These areas may change their localization in the course of treatment.

6.

Combination of individually-dosed and continuous modes allows to reduce the time of treatment. Individually-dosed mode is recommended for examination in the beginning, in the middle and in the end of the course. During other sessions use continuous mode.

7.

You can also use methods of SCENAR-therapist A. N. Revenko. For example, at first session, or part of it, treat the painful areas or projection of the disordered organ according to recommendations in the instructions on use. At the second session act upon segments of the same area and treat symmetry. Area, segment and symmetry can be treated one after another in individually-dosed or continuous mode. During one session you can combine both individually-dosed and continuous modes. This will let you reduce the time spent for treatment during the session, your time and time of the patient.

8.

The patient recovers much sooner if you start treating the disease in acute condition.

9.

Operating modes (1, 2, 3) may change during the session until the sound signal appears, if you keep the device at the same place.

For example, mode 1 will go into mode 2 and then into mode 3, or mode 2 will go into mode 3, or mode 2 — into “energy hole”. In this case we recommend to decrease the pulse energy and wait until the sound signal beeps.

10.

For all cases when you conduct SCENAR-therapy in individually-dosed mode you should wait until your device produces the sound signal. After you hear the beep, repeated treatment of the same area is not expedient. The area which has been treated usually shows zero mode.

11.

If you have mode 1, there is no beep. In this case, to go into another mode, decrease the pulse energy. This will change flash for constant lighting followed by the beep.

12.

Finish action upon any area and treatment of any condition with action upon 6 points on the face. (Points of trifacial nerve ends).

13.

Sometimes SCENAR-therapy can be accompanied by exacerbation of the disease. In our practice such conditions most often occurred during treatment of locomotor disorders (osteochondrosis and arthritis/arthrosis). Sometimes exacerbations may occur during treatment of other pathological conditions. They manifest in non-typical pains, often more pronounced, but rather short. These conditions may be eliminated by often action with SCENAR device (1-2-3 times a day).

14.

Our observations show that it is possible to effectively and quickly eliminate or even avoid possible exacerbations of locomotor system disorders if you use combined therapy — SCENAR-therapy together with herb therapy.

Theoretical background and clinical observations of the combined SCENAR-therapy can be summed up in the following:

  • acting upon the human body SCENAR series device evokes and stimulates body's reserves;
  • SCENAR's own electrical energy most likely turns into the biological energy of the body;
  • the herbs used in combined therapy promote elimination of toxins and other products of unfinished metabolism and protect the body from possible exacerbations by fixing free radicals, which damage body systems.

Herbs increase body reserves. That is why it is very useful to combine SCENAR-therapy with certain herbs used for treatment of particular disease. For example, treating disorders of biliary tracts, you should also use immortelle flowers, camomile, etc., i. e. herbs specially applied for treatment of this disorder. Herb therapy is especially helpful for older patients, since their body reserves are rather exhausted.

One of our important clinical observations was the case with no exacerbations when we simultaneously applied SCENAR-therapy and herbs.

15.

The course of treatment can be finished in the following cases:

  • mode 3 or zero mode occurs in the areas and segments of pathological focus;
  • pain syndrome is eliminated;
  • disordered function is restored.

No dynamics in operating modes of SCENAR device during 5 or more sessions (e. g. you observe the same mode every session) indicates that the body does not respond to SCENAR-action. This may be caused by no reserves left in the body. In this case we recommend making a pause in treatment for 10–20 days. During this pause the patient can use herb therapy. After that continue SCENAR-therapy again.

If you observe elimination of pain, restoration of the disordered function and elimination of asymmetry all at the same time, the treatment can be finished.

Authors' advice

1.

For main instruction on treatment — see the manual of your SCENAR-series model.

2.

You can use practical recommendations provided in this tutorial together with the instructions of the manual.

3.

It is not obligatory to always follow all recommendations provided in the device manual.

For example, if you treat acute pains in the loin, act only upon the pain areas, do not treat “three tracks” as recommended in the device manual. In this case, due to directional action aimed at certain problem, the therapeutic effect will be much higher and quicker.

4.

In cases when disease cannot be localized and is only manifested in weakness, malaise, decreased working ability, conditions after serious operations, flue, acute respiratory disease, “three tracks” and “6 points” should be main methods used for treatment.

Often short course of SCENAR-therapy (4–6 sessions) is enough to produce stable therapeutic effect and recovery in young and middle-aged people.

5.

When treating chronic disease, we recommend to “shake up” the body in the very beginning of the therapy course, so that to make all its idle reserves work. For this we recommend using only “three tracks” method treating asymmetry during the first 3–5 sessions and then start treating the main disorder according to instructions in the device manual.
